Pultron Composites opens Dubai Factory |

Due to Pultron Composites Ltd's R&D Technology research over the last 25 years, they are expanding their business into the Middle East. Their mateenbar TM product is one of the exciting products developed from that research and will be a great benefit in reinforcing concrete, due to it's corrosive resistance, light weight and competitive pricing. a high performance, corrosion resistant, concrete reinforcing bar which not only increases the lifespan of a building but halves the cost of the reinforcement.
Pultron Composites Ltd is a Gisborne based company and their new factory in Dubai was opened last month by the NZ Minister of Trade. The prime reason for heading to the Middle East is Pultron's mateenbar TM - which is a high performance composite rebar, designed for reinforcement of concrete in areas where steel is unsuitable, not only increasing the lifespan of a building but halving the cost of the reinforcement.
Pultron has been supplying composite rebar in New Zealand and Australia for over 25 years, and more recently have exported to the Middle East and USA with mateenbar TM. The Middle East in particular is seen as a major growth market, driven by the significant corrosion issues which exist in much of the region. Recent design guides such as the American Concrete Institute ACI 440 series, and the AASHTO Bridge Design Guide Specifications are helping engineers to understand and take advantage of the benefits offered by composite rebars.
